DECISIONS ESTABLISHED

The Housing Policy Department of the capital city was first established under the name of Housing Development Department by Resolution No. 190 of 2012 of the Government of Mongolia and Decree No. A/89 of 2013 of the Governor of the Capital City. As a result, according to Resolution No. 08 of 2016 of the Government of Mongolia, Decree No. A/635 of 2016 of the Governor of the Capital City, the Department of Housing Infrastructure, Resolution No. 100 of 2019 of the Government of Mongolia, Decree No. A/241 of the Governor of the Capital City of 2019. Department of Structure, Mongolian Government Resolution No. 360 of 2021, and Capital Governor’s Decree No. 1034 of 2021 were reorganized as the Capital Housing Policy Department.

The Department of Housing Policy of the Capital operates with 4 departments: Administration, Finance Department, Policy Implementation Department, Housing Infrastructure Department, Project Coordination Department and a total of 33 employees.

The families of Ulaanbaatar’s ger neighborhood will be provided with healthy, safe and comfortable living conditions, and the ger neighborhood will be developed into a complex neighborhood with engineering and social infrastructure.

MISSION

The purpose of the land is to develop the community into a residential community with social and engineering infrastructure and to improve the living environment and conditions of the citizens.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Strategic Objective 1:

The government will provide a unified policy to increase the living environment, housing quality and availability, and infrastructure provision in accordance with the policies and partial general plans for the development of home neighborhoods and housing.

Strategic Objective 2:

Re-planning and construction projects will be carried out on the land of Ger neighborhood, and it will be developed into a residential neighborhood equipped with engineering and social infrastructure and reducing environmental pollution.

Strategic objective 3:

A project proposal will be made to reorganize the capital’s housing estates, provide independent and partial engineering infrastructure, research and introduce new environmentally friendly and economical technologies.

Strategic Objective 4:

As part of the redevelopment of urban areas, access to housing in the capital will be increased by implementing projects with innovative technologies that meet the income of citizens with foreign and domestic loans and assistance.

Strategic Objective 5:

To ensure the leadership of public administration management, to strengthen the effectiveness, skills and capabilities of government employees, to ensure social security, and to form a qualified team.

Strategic Objective 6:

Ensures the implementation of resolutions related to the functions of the organization, and improves reporting, monitoring and operations of internal operations.
